Cecile Binmoeller, Ph.D.

Cecile Binmoeller is a postdoctoral fellow at Seesaw. She earned her degrees from the University of California at Santa Barbara (UCSB). She earned her Ph.D. in Counseling, Clinical, and School Psychology, M.A. in Research Methodology, M.Ed. in School Psychology, and B.A. in Global Studies.

Cecile has worked in a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient residential facilities, and schools. She has conducted clinical assessment and treatment for children and adolescents (e.g., neuropsychological, developmental, psycho-diagnostic, psycho-educational, medical necessity) at the Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility at Sarah A. Reed Children’s Center, the Hosford Clinic at UCSB, and the Koegel Autism Center at UCSB.

Cecile’s clinical interests include the assessment of neurodevelopmental disorders and evidence-based treatment methods that focus on skill-building and reflective practices. Her research has focused on  examining the complex spheres of influence impacting bullying behaviors.

Cecile grew up in France and Switzerland, where she attended international schools and developed a passion for cultural diversity and scholarship. She moved to California as a teen.

Cecile joined our team at Seesaw in Fall of 2018. She provides evaluation, therapy, and parent coaching. Her clinical supervisor is Sabrina Gabel, Ph.D.
