Michael Tiura, Ph.D.
Michael is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Child Adolescent Clinical Psychology. Michael earned his B.S. in Psychology at Michigan State University and his Ph.D. in School Psychology from UC Berkeley.
Michael has worked in public schools in the East Bay and Marin since 2015. Michael training and specialization is in neuropsychological evaluation, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, and education. His research has focused on autism, attachment, group learning, and social-emotional learning (SEL).
Michael joined our team at Seesaw in Fall 2016 for his pre-doctoral clinical internship. He returned for his post-doctoral fellowship training in the Summer of 2020. He provides evaluation, therapy, and social emotional classes. His clinical supervisor is Dr. Sabrina Gabel.
