Ronghua Zhang 张榕华 is a native Mandarin speaker. She is bilingual in English and Mandarin. Currently, she is a doctoral student of International and Multicultural Education at the University of San Francisco. Her family is originally from Yichang in the Hubei Province of China. She earned her B.A in Chinese from Guangdong University in Foreign Studies and an M.A in Education from Stanford University.
Ronghua has a California Teaching Credential in Secondary Mandarin. She has 7 years of teaching experience working in pre-schools to high schools in China, Philadelphia and the SF Bay Area. She has worked as a nanny and Mandarin tutor as well. Ronghua is excited about introducing her native language and sharing Chinese culture to young learners.
Ronghua joined our team at Seesaw in February of 2018. She teaches Le You You Mandarin play group for young children.
