Monica is a student at UC Berkeley studying Neuroscience. She has special interests in child psychology, parenting, and education.

Monica works as a research assistant at the Gopnik Lab at UC Berkeley. She is currently on a research project studying children’s intuitive understanding of caregiving relationships.

 

Monica was born and raised in San Diego. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, going to the beach, hiking, and trying new restaurants. She speaks fluent English and Cantonese, as well as some Mandarin.

 

Monica joined our team at Seesaw and Nurture in summer 2026. She is a practicum student and therapist aide who assists with peer groups and helps with community outreach projects.
