Sujin Sabrina Gabel Ph.D.

Sabrina is the Clinic Director at Seesaw Psychology Group. She earned her B.A in psychology from the University of California, Irvine and studied clinical neuropsychology at the University of Northern Colorado. She completed her doctoral training in the Combined Counseling, Clinical, and School Psychology program at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Her doctoral research focused on strength-based assessment, risk and resilience, bullying, and multicultural psychology.

Sabrina’s pre-doctoral and post-doctoral training included work in a variety of settings including the child development clinic at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU), autism assessment clinic, early intervention preschool evaluation team, neuropsychiatric rehabilitation hospital, and traumatic brain injury center. She has worked in urban and suburban schools in Santa Barbara, Portland (Oregon), and the SF Bay Area. Sabrina specializes in neuropsychological and neurodevelopmental evaluation, ADHD, anxiety, autism spectrum, adoptive families, and multicultural therapy.

Sabrina was raised in Toronto and LA (South Bay). She speaks English and some Korean. San Francisco is her spiritual home. When she is not at work, Dr. Gabel enjoys her lattes, cheering on the sidelines for her son at soccer or basketball, riding her bike, and the beach.

As Clinic Director, Sabrina provides training, supervision, evaluation, therapy, and consultation. She and her husband, Niels are the founders of Seesaw which opened in August 2010.
