Clare Brinkman, MA

Clare Brinkman, MA earned her B.A in Psychology with honors from the University of Oregon, and her M.A in psychology from The Wright Institute. She is currently a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at The Wright Institute. 

Clare is passionate about working with children and adolescents. She has worked in various settings including a private outpatient clinic and school-based mental health clinic. She provided individual, family/couple, and group therapy.  In addition, at The Wright Institute Recovery Clinic, she conducted individual therapy and co-facilitated support groups for parents with substance use disorders.

Clare worked as a Research Assistant at the Social Cognition Lab at the University of Oregon and the Social Perception Action and Motivation Lab at New York University. Her research experiences help to inform her evidence-based therapy techniques and practice.

Clare is a Doctoral Trainee who joined our team at Seesaw in the summer of 2024. She provides evaluation and therapy in our San Francisco clinic.
